Article 3 Background

The World Shiology Forum was founded in 2017. It is a high-level international dialogue platform based on the theoretical foundation of Shiology. Adhering to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it aims to promote an average human lifespan of 100 years within this century (8B×100Y). The Forum is dedicated to systematically addressing shiance issues that hinder human sustainable development and to promoting the construction of a global food order that cares for 8 billion people. Founded by Mr. Liu Guangwei, President of the Beijing Oriental Shiology Research Institute, it takes shiance as its object of study and constitutes a body of knowledge that reveals the objective laws of shiance. Shiology transcends the cognitive limitations of the modern disciplinary system and, for the first time, integrates all human knowledge regarding eater health, food acquisition, and food order into a unified whole. It advocates understanding and resolving all food-related human issues—such as ecological damage, environmental pollution, wealth disparity, hunger, food waste, food safety, diet-related diseases, and food conflicts—from the perspective of shiance, thereby promoting the sustainable development of all humanity.

In September 2015, the United Nations proposed 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Twelve of these 17 goals are related to shiance. Shiance issues are a major factor hindering sustainable development. If shiance issues are not effectively resolved, sustainable development cannot be achieved.

Article 4 Mission

It focuses on shiance issues that hinder sustainable development, gathers global food industrialists and shiologists who share the mission of sustainable development, and explores holistic solutions to shiance issues threatening sustainable human development. It promotes a shift from "partial governance" to "holistic governance" and builds a global governance system that comprehensively addresses shiance issues.
