Astrida Miceikiene

Prof. Dr. Astrida Miceikienė is an economics researcher at the Vytautas Magnus University Agricultural Academy. Her research and activities contribute to the development of bioeconomy, climate change management, and agricultural economics.

Astrida Miceikienė actively researches financial instruments for climate change management, agricultural taxation, and environmental policy within an economic context, as well as the economic development of the bioeconomy. She collaborates with scientists from other disciplines on interdisciplinary research and projects. She has published 39 articles in internationally cited scientific journals indexed in CA WOS and Scopus databases, including Renewable Energy and Energy Strategy Reviews. Her h-index is 9. In total, she has authored over 400 scientific and popular science publications. Astrida Miceikienė's participation in international projects, including "Horizon Europe" and "Horizon 2020" initiatives, demonstrates her ability to work in global teams to address complex challenges successfully. She has also led significant research funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture, including the analysis of the impact of green taxes and the development of innovative advisory service methodologies.
